Our Team
Our team is steadily growing as we bring on senior-level technology experts. Currently we have 6 developers that work with us in-house at our SOMA SF office. We have access to a wide network of talented front-end, user experience, and Ruby on Rails engineers. Three of our members are Certified Scrum Masters.
Rodney Carvalho, Co-Founder & CEO
Rodney has over 9 years of work experience in technology, and over 7 years developing software applications for the web and Windows desktop. He possesses a well-rounded skill set with extensive experience in object-oriented design and code inspection techniques. He has worked for both large and small companies like AMD, Sony, Liquid Audio and Ecast.
David Lowenfels, Co-Founder & CTO
David (a.k.a. the Nutty Professor) has been playing with software since he was in kindergarten. A student of life, he is constantly assimilating new skills for his toolbelt. His extensive background in engineering and music give him a refreshing balance of creativity and technical precision. He holds Master's degrees from MIT and Stanford.
Harlan Knight Wood, Senior Software Engineer & COO
Harlan is a software craftsman with over 10 years of development experience, using a huge range of technologies. Drawing from his own entrepreneurial experience, Harlan is strongly focused on customer collaboration and delivery of concrete business value. He has held leadership roles in the adoption of automated testing frameworks, continuous integration, code quality visualizations, and formal process improvement. Harlan balances technical interests with creative pursuits, which currently include the creation of several open source screenplays.
